New Certification Updates for November
1. Vietnam MIC officially released Circular 06/2021/TT-BTTTT and accompanying QCVN 127:2021/BTTTT for all 5G Stand-Alone user equipment (including 5G phones). This technical regulation shall take effect from March 1st, 2022 and enforced from July 1st, 2022.
2. Morroco ANRT updated the National Frequency Plan; the main change is the addition of the 869MHz bands for Short Range Devices (SRD).
3. Thailand TISI has published two mandatory safety standards (TIS2779-2562 and TIS2780-2562) that will be effective March 29th, 2022.
4. Thailand TISI issued notification on October 15th, 2021 to cancel the TISI notification regarding batch certification under COVID-19, effective after 60 days. However, the product categories that were originally allowed to apply for TISI batch certificates in the TISI standard are not affected by this notification.
5. Malaysia MCMC had published new standards for 5G User Equipment (UE), including but not limiting to products such as cellular mobile terminals, handheld/portable and vehicle-mounted equipment, and Radio Frequency (RF) interface cards and modems, and their Base station (BS).
