CTI provides testing for the Prohibition on certain hazardous substances in consumer products (Norway PoHS) for all kinds of consumer products and their raw materials.

The implementation of GB/T 39498-2020 “Guidelines for the use and control of key substances in consumer product” has made up for the lack of general requirements and standards for chemical hazards in the basic and general fields of consumer products in China for a long time, and has met the needs of China to improve the quality of consumer products. CTI can provide key chemical substances testing services in GB/T 39498-2020 for various products and raw materials, helping enterprises improve their core competitiveness.

CTI provide risk assessment and testing service of durable consumer products and feeding utensils for child covering over 10 categories, such as baby feeding-bottles and nipple, baby drinking bottle, soothers, baby strollers, baby cart, cradle, baby cribs, baby walking frames, high chairs, table chairs, play yards, rocking chairs, baby carriers and etc.

CPSIA covers comprehensive content. On the one hand, it adjusted the supervision regulation of consumer products, especially for children's products, and on the other hand, it affirms the work and responsibilities of the CPSC. Toys and children products exported to US need to comply with CPSC, CPSIA, ASTM F963 etc., the requirements refer to phthalates, lead and tracking label etc., and the manufacturers and importers of children's products must certify, in a written Children's Product Certificate (CPC) based on test results from a CPSC accredited laboratory to prove that their children's products comply with applicable children's product safety requirements. CTI lab is accepted 3rd party laboratory by CPSC, and authorized cooperative laboratory by Amazon.

Safety of the toys for children has become the focus of international attention. Safety is an important indicator of toys. Global toy buyers and consumers have regard the safety of toy as the first factor when purchase. The requirements of standards refer to Mechanical and physical properties, label, flammability, electronics, organic and inorganic chemistry, etc. The Hardline and toys lab is accredited by UKAS, CMA and CNAS (China National Accreditation Board for Laboratories), CTI is the CPSC recognized testing laboratory for the CPSIA (Consumer Products Safety Improvement Act).
