Regulation Updates for May:

1. The Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI) will start regulating Air-cleaning Appliances according to standard TIS 60335 Part 2(65)-2564 on May 5th, 2023.

2. The Thailand National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) announced regarding the standard for 5.925-6.425GHz (WIFI 6E), the effective date is April 29th, 2023.

3. According to the Notice No. 2022-64 from the Korea Energy Agency (KEA), the energy efficiency application category of monitors will be updated from E-standby to KMEPS which effective from May 1ST.

4. The Korea National Radio Research Agency (RRA) published Notice No. 2023-6 on April 28th, 2023, which has come into force and updated the certification requirements of wireless communication equipment.

5. The India Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC) published on March 29th, 2023, a notice on Essential Requirements (ER) of IP Multimedia Conferencing Equipment, LAN Switch, and IoT Gateways. Some test parameters are now considered “Not Applicable” until further notcie.
