Bunker has the largest impact on vessel operational cost. In the current competitive environment often the bunker purchasers require an impartial and independent survey partner to ensure the vessel receives the correct quantity as ordered. More importantly to engage a professional survey partner who provides dispute resolution in mitigating quantity discrepancies and taking care of your interest.

 

Maritec BQS Service fulfils these Bunker KPIs:

 

  • Verify proper bunker inventory onboard vessel. No excessive pocket bunkers.

  • Accuracy in quantity measurement and calculation. Both on the vessel and barge.

  • Supervise bunker sampling is representative and proper documentation.

  • Quantity dispute monitoring management

  • Review of key performance by vessel, port, bunker supplier and supply barge.

 

Maritec BQS services are now available with 51 new ports, an expansion by 29% to our current service network.  The survey team in placed are professional marine engineers and marine officers being trained to adopt our stringent inhouse BQS SOP ensuring the highest standard of work performed.
